COVID-19 Coronavirus
We are still open, and still providing the best service that we can. We are doing things a bit differently, though. Please do NOT come in to the surgery unless we have asked you to. You can still phone and speak to a doctor, we will provide telephone consultations, and if we need to bring people into the surgery then we will give you an appointment. More information can be found here:
COVID-19 Click here to get an isolation note - a note to give to your employer if you have to self isolate
COVID-19 testing - click here to book a test
Remote Consultations
If you have an appointment for a video consultation then you can access the service here. Please do not click on this link if you do not have an appointment. You will not get a consultation without an apointment. Please phone reception on 01292 264080
If you have trouble connecting then please DO NOT call our staff. They have no ability to fix your problem, and talking to them will only delay you getting seen. You can access a help service here:
We may ask you to email us a picture. Use Clinical_Practice_BankfieldMedicalPractice_80842@aapct.scot.nhs.uk
Please make sure that the patient's name and date of birth is in the message. An email from Annie97@example.com doesn't tell us who it's about, and we don't want to guess!
Musculoskeletal problems
Due to Covid there are a lot of patients that we are unable to see face to face. However, you can now access expert musculoskeletal advice directly without having to go through your GP. The normal face to face service is not running, but you can access a variety of self help information on the website. Please use this in the first instance.
Online Patient Access now available
Patients can now order repeat prescriptions online. Please speak to our staff who will help you set this up.
Once you are registered, you can access the service here:
